MOG BEING BEATS

I have my doubts about having these hep cats "curate" my listening. A long-time MOG subscriber, there's not much I want changed. It would be nice if it was no longer struggling, so I could count on them not being suddenly defunct one day. I figured there could only be so many streaming services that are successful, and MOG never seemed to be among the survivors. So this looks like it might be a positive for MOG's future. But I like to think of myself as my own curator, not the curatee. Certainly I have my go-to gurus helping me pick what to listen to, but they aren't Rolling Stone or Pitchfork or Dr. Dre or Jimmy Iovine or Trent Reznor—or Ellen's personal dj. If there was a Christgau channel I'd be in heaven, but otherwise having some outside force come in and weed out the "howlers" in my listening queue...I don't know about that. I guess I'll have to wait and see, or hear, what happens.
